Make this quick and easy frozen strawberry daiquiri at home. This recipe uses fresh or frozen strawberries for a sweet and tangy summer cocktail that is perfect for parties or relaxing by the pool.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup white rum (or adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup (or more to taste)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional, for thicker consistency)
  • Garnish: Fresh strawberry slices or lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients: frozen strawberries, white rum, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and ice if you want a thicker drink.
  2. Place the frozen strawberries, rum, lime juice, and simple syrup into a high-powered blender.
  3. Add the ice cubes now if you are using them.
  4. Secure the blender lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and has a slushy consistency. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  5. Taste the mixture. Add more simple syrup for sweetness or more lime juice for tanginess, then blend briefly to combine.
  6. Pour the frozen strawberry daiquiri into chilled glasses.
  7. Garnish each glass with a fresh strawberry slice or a lime wedge before serving immediately.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic or virgin strawberry daiquiri, omit the rum and replace it with 1/2 cup of water or strawberry soda.
  • If you use fresh strawberries instead of frozen, increase the amount of ice to 1 1/2 cups to achieve the proper frozen texture.
  • You can make a simple syrup by heating equal parts sugar and water until the sugar dissolves, then cooling completely.
