  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries or thawed frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup strawberry preserves or jam (optional, for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture, beating until fully combined and smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate, clean bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Do not overmix; you want the dip to remain fluffy.
  5. If using fresh strawberries, gently fold them into the dip. If using thawed frozen strawberries, gently fold them in.
  6. If you want a swirl effect, spoon half the dip into a serving bowl. Dollop the strawberry preserves over the top, then add the remaining dip. Use a knife to gently swirl the preserves into the dip.
  7. Chill the dip for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow it to set slightly.
