Make the iconic Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew at home. This easy recipe gives you the rich, spiced pumpkin cream topping for your cold coffee, replicating the popular Starbucks drink for less money.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups strong cold brew coffee, chilled
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • For the Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam:
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (canned)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam: In a medium bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, milk, pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract.
  2. Use an electric hand mixer or a whisk to beat the mixture on medium-high speed until it becomes thick, fluffy, and holds soft peaks. This replicates the cold foam texture.
  3. Prepare the Cold Brew: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the chilled cold brew coffee over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full.
  5. Top the cold brew with the prepared Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam, spooning it gently over the top of the coffee.
  6. Garnish with an extra sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a thinner foam, reduce the heavy cream slightly or add a splash more milk.
  • If you do not have an electric mixer, you can vigorously whisk the foam ingredients by hand, but this will take longer to achieve the correct thickness.
  • Use your favorite cold brew concentrate or store-bought cold brew for the base.
