Make this easy, no-bake pecan pie dip that captures the sweet, creamy flavor of classic pecan pie without the fuss of a crust. It is perfect for holiday parties or cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dippers: Graham crackers, apple wedges, pretzels, or cookies

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish. Chill while you prepare the topping.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup, and salt.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly and bubbles, about 3 to 5 minutes. Do not boil rapidly.
  6. Remove the pecan mixture from the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Pour the warm pecan topping evenly over the chilled cream cheese base.
  8. Chill the dip for at least 1 hour before serving.
  9. Serve cold with your choice of dippers.

Notes

  • For a richer caramel flavor, use dark corn syrup instead of light corn syrup in the topping.
  • You can toast the pecans lightly before adding them to the topping mixture for deeper flavor.
  • Prepare the dip base a day ahead and store it covered in the refrigerator. Add the topping just before serving.
