Make a festive, crowd-pleasing holiday drink everyone can enjoy. This non-alcoholic Christmas punch blends bright citrus and tart cranberry flavors with sparkling ginger ale for a refreshing mocktail perfect for parties or Christmas morning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  • 4 cups orange juice, chilled
  • 4 cups ginger ale or sparkling cider, chilled
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced for garnish
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries for garnish
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large punch bowl, combine the cranberry juice cocktail and orange juice. Stir to mix the juices thoroughly.
  2. Chill the juice mixture for at least 2 hours, or prepare this step the day before serving.
  3. Just before serving, gently add the chilled ginger ale or sparkling cider to the juice mixture. Stir slowly to combine without losing too much carbonation.
  4. Add the sliced oranges, fresh cranberries, and lime slices to the punch bowl.
  5. If desired, add a large block of ice or ice ring to keep the punch cold without diluting it quickly.
  6. Serve immediately in glasses with a ladle.

Notes

  • For a make-ahead option, mix the juices only and store them covered in the refrigerator. Add the sparkling element right before guests arrive.
  • Freeze some of the fresh cranberries and orange slices in water in a bundt pan to create a decorative ice ring that keeps the punch cold.
  • If you prefer a less sweet punch, substitute half of the cranberry juice cocktail with unsweetened cranberry juice.
