Make the famous Neiman Marcus Dip, also known as Million Dollar Dip. This creamy, cheesy appetizer with bacon and almonds comes together quickly and is perfect for any party or gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup slivered or sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, toasted almonds, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap.
  4. Refrigerate the dip for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to blend. This step is important for the best taste.
  5. Before serving, transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  6. Serve cold with your favorite crackers, tortilla chips, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • Toast the almonds lightly in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes until fragrant. Watch them closely as they burn fast.
  • You can prepare this dip a day ahead of time, making it a great make ahead appetizer for holidays.
  • For a richer flavor, use smoked bacon.
