You can make this rich and creamy Million Dollar Pie without turning on your oven. This easy dessert uses a graham cracker crust, cream cheese, condensed milk, crushed pineapple, and pecans for a perfect Southern treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, plus extra for topping
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup sugar. Pour in the melted butter and stir until the crumbs are evenly moistened. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Place the crust in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
  2. Make the filling base: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is smooth and fluffy. Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk until fully combined.
  3. Add fruit and flavor: Stir in the well-drained crushed pineapple, vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in whipped topping: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain. Do not overmix.
  5. Assemble the pie: Spoon the filling evenly into the chilled graham cracker crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Chill: Cover the pie loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until the filling is firm.
  7. Serve: Before serving this easy dessert recipe, sprinkle the top generously with extra chopped pecans. Slice and serve cold.

Notes

  • Make sure your pineapple is very well drained; excess liquid will prevent the pie from setting properly.
  • For an extra rich crust, you can add 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar to the graham cracker crumbs.
  • You can substitute walnuts for pecans if you prefer a different nut flavor in this Southern pie recipe.
