Ingredients
Scale
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup finely chopped dill pickles (use Grillo’s if available for best flavor)
Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream into a medium mixing bowl. Beat them together with a hand mixer or a sturdy spoon until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
Add the finely chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, and dry ranch seasoning mix to the bowl. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the creamy base.
If you are using them, fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
Cover the bowl and chill the pickle dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Chilling allows the flavors to blend together.
Before serving, garnish the top with fresh chopped dill, if desired.
Serve your easy pickle dip cold with potato chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
For the best texture, make sure your cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
If you prefer a spicier dip, add a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper with the ranch seasoning.
This dip is excellent made a day ahead of time for maximum flavor development.
