This sparkling punch combines fresh strawberries and bubbly champagne for an elegant, crowd-pleasing drink perfect for New Year’s Eve, bridal showers, or brunch gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle chilled Champagne or dry sparkling wine
  • 1 cup strawberry puree (from fresh or frozen strawberries)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, chilled
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 liter lemon-lime soda or ginger ale, chilled
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries or mixed berries
  • Optional: 1 cup vodka (for an alcoholic option)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry puree by blending fresh or thawed frozen strawberries until smooth. Strain if you prefer a seedless texture.
  2. In a large punch bowl, combine the strawberry puree, orange juice, simple syrup, and optional vodka. Stir these base ingredients together well.
  3. Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled lemon-lime soda or ginger ale. Stir once or twice very lightly to combine the soda without losing too much carbonation.
  4. Slowly pour in the chilled Champagne or sparkling wine. Stir minimally to incorporate the sparkling wine.
  5. Add the sliced fresh strawberries and raspberries to the punch bowl for garnish and flavor.
  6. Serve immediately in glasses filled with ice. For best results, chill all ingredients thoroughly before mixing.

Notes

  • To make this a non-alcoholic champagne punch alternative, substitute the Champagne with chilled white grape juice or sparkling white cranberry juice.
  • For an easy make ahead party drink, mix the puree, juices, and syrup up to 24 hours in advance. Keep chilled and add the soda and Champagne right before guests arrive.
  • If you want a pink champagne punch, use a dry Rosé sparkling wine instead of standard Champagne.
