This warm, bubbly pizza dip uses a cream cheese base and is loaded with classic pizza flavors. It is a simple, crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for parties and game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix until completely smooth.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. This forms your base layer.
  4. Spoon the marinara sauce over the cream cheese layer. Spread it gently to cover the base.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce layer.
  6. Distribute the mini pepperoni slices and sliced black olives (if using) over the cheese.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let the pizza dip rest for 5 minutes before serving warm with crusty bread, bagel chips, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use a high-quality marinara sauce.
  • You can prepare the dip mixture (steps 1-5) ahead of time and keep it covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking. Add 5 extra minutes to the bake time if baking straight from the fridge.
  • Serve this dip inside a hollowed-out round loaf of crusty bread for an impressive presentation.
