Make a large batch of rich, creamy hot chocolate in your slow cooker. This recipe stays warm for hours, making it perfect for parties and cozy winter nights.

  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the whole milk, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk in the slow cooker insert. Whisk until mixed.
  2. Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips to the liquid mixture.
  3. Cook on LOW for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Do not let it boil.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Switch the slow cooker setting to KEEP WARM. Serve directly from the slow cooker.
