Make this simple, sweet and savory appetizer using only three ingredients in your slow cooker. This dump and go recipe is perfect for game days and potlucks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (32 ounce) bag frozen pre-cooked meatballs
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar grape jelly
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle BBQ chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen meatballs into the basin of your slow cooker.
  2. Pour the grape jelly over the meatballs.
  3. Pour the BBQ chili sauce over the jelly and meatballs.
  4. Stir the ingredients gently to coat the meatballs evenly.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours, or on HIGH for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is bubbly.
  6. Stir the meatballs before serving.
  7. Serve directly from the slow cooker on the WARM setting to keep them hot for your guests.
  8. Provide toothpicks or small forks for easy serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use the LOW setting for a more developed flavor.
  • If you do not have BBQ chili sauce, you can substitute it with chili sauce and a splash of liquid smoke.
  • To keep the meatballs warm on a buffet line, set your slow cooker to the WARM setting after cooking is complete.
