Make this creamy dill dip using fresh dill for a bright, tangy flavor. It is a quick and easy recipe perfect for serving with vegetables, chips, or crackers at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the sour cream and mayonnaise to the bowl. Mix until just combined and the mixture is uniform.
  3. Stir in the fresh dill, dried parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all the herbs and seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill the dill dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to blend.
  5. Serve your homemade dip cold with fresh vegetables, potato chips, or crackers.

Notes

  • For a tangier flavor, substitute half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
  • If you do not have fresh dill, you can use 1 tablespoon of dried dill, but the flavor will be less bright.
  • This dip tastes best when made a few hours ahead of time.
