  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into uniform 1-inch cubes. Pat them dry with paper towels to help them brown better.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces to the hot skillet in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet with the chicken. Stir constantly for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant. Do not let the garlic burn.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth. Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan, until the sauce slightly thickens and coats the chicken.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Garnish generously with fresh chopped parsley before serving immediately.
