Make this crowd-pleasing Bruschetta Dip for your next gathering. This easy, no-cook recipe layers creamy cheese with fresh tomatoes, basil, and garlic for a flavorful Italian party starter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces Boursin cheese (or soft herbed cheese), room temperature
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze, divided
  • 2 cups cherry or Roma tomatoes, diced small
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Crusty bread, crackers, or pita chips for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Boursin cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Mix until completely smooth and well combined.
  2. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into a serving dish. Drizzle half of the balsamic glaze over the cheese layer.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, and minced garlic. Add the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat the tomato mixture.
  4. Spoon the fresh tomato mixture evenly over the cheese layer in the serving dish.
  5. Drizzle the remaining balsamic glaze over the top of the tomatoes.
  6. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve your easy appetizer dip with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or pita chips.

Notes

  • For a make-ahead appetizer, prepare the cheese base and the tomato topping separately and store them in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Assemble just before serving.
  • If you prefer a hot bruschetta dip, you can bake the entire assembled dip at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is warm and bubbly.
  • Use high-quality, ripe tomatoes for the best flavor in this fresh tomato dip.
