Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon sriracha (optional, for heat)
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon cold water (slurry)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. Rub the fillets lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sriracha (if using) to create the glaze.
Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8 minutes.
While the salmon cooks, pour the honey garlic mixture into a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Whisk in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 1 minute. Remove from heat.
After 8 minutes, brush half of the thickened honey garlic glaze over the tops of the salmon fillets.
Return the salmon to the air fryer and cook for another 2 to 4 minutes, or until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the edges look slightly crispy.
Remove the salmon from the air fryer. Brush with the remaining glaze and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, place the salmon skin-side down first and cook for 5 minutes before flipping and glazing.
This recipe works well for salmon bites; reduce the cooking time slightly.
Serve this healthy salmon air fryer dish over rice or with roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
